Getting Started
Here's how we begin:
Free Discovery Call — 15 minutes
A quick phone chat to discuss your project, talk through rough budget, and make sure we're a good fit. We'll cover any site challenges (flood, bushfire, slope) and I'll explain what to expect from an on-site consultation.
On-Site Consultation — $295
This is where we properly dig into your project. I come to your property, we spend 60–90 minutes walking the site together, and I'll sketch out some preliminary layout ideas based on how your family actually lives.
What happens during the consultation:
We walk through your home and property so I can understand the constraints and opportunities
You tell me what's not working and how you'd like to use the space
We look at your inspiration images together (bring your Pinterest board)
I give you realistic budget guidance based on what I'm seeing on site
I explain the council requirements (CCCLEP/CCCDCP) in plain English so you know what you're dealing with
I outline the design and approval pathway for your specific project
I sketch initial design ideas showing possible layout options
What you receive after the consultation:
Tailored fee proposal with fixed pricing
Written summary of opportunities and constraints
Initial design drawings showing the layout options we discussed (to be refined once you engage me for design services)
Clear next steps for moving forward
The $295 consultation fee is fully credited towards your design services if you decide to proceed.
